Anyone else fed up with the same spam messages from retards on this site?

I call for the addition of being able to flag a spammer just like on Babble, but preferably a system that actually works!

I propose after a certain threshold has been reached for a profile being flagged by different users the offending profile gets referred to a site mod/admin for verification and if like the above link the profile is clearly a bogus spammer then the account can be closed and their email and IP blocked.

Who's with me? just post a comment if you agree and want to see these spamming cunt's hunted down and exterminated like the scum that they are.

If they are bugging you, you could always just block them when you come across them... That's what I do both on here and babble.

Well the block button is useful for normal irritating users but useless against these spammers, chances are that their account creation is either automated or they have a few people signing up with different email addresses as no matter how many times I block them more new profiles appear.

The whole time I have been on Babble I think I've had about 5-6 of these type of scam/spam messages and never a repeated one, however on here they are constant, on average 2-3 a day! and always the same few messages with the same garbage in them.

Is it really that much to ask and have a mod deal with them? after all this site is not as over populated as Babble and should easily be manageable to keep spammers off the site?

So yes the block button is fine for the normal user as they just have the one account but I'm not really talking about those I'm talking about organised scamers using the site to get people to contact them off site so they can con people into handing out details in order to rip them off.

I'm sure very few if any would fall for these scams as they are really bad and old methods but its the annoyance of not being able to properly stop them from messaging that's the real issue.

Any site admin want to look into this? I have a list that would keep you entertained for hours as you deleted their accounts from the database and ban them.

We keep on banning them. But somehow with all the updates, it clears the ban's.

It is incredibly easy to just get a new IP and continue their asult. And yes.. it is so damn annoying.

unfortunately, this is what happens when a site is free.. any kind of dirt can enter and create havoc..
